Role Description

Alvarez & Marsal in Southeast Asia and Australia
Alvarez & Marsal established its SEAA presence in 2021. A strong brand globally and in Asian markets, the company has leveraged its expertise and the current SEAA market potential with 7 offices across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, HCMC, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Since A&M's arrival to SEAA, there has been growing demand from both local and multinational entities for turnaround management, performance improvement and business advisory services. From its SEAA offices, A&M offers turnaround and restructuring advisory, interim and crisis management, performance improvement and transaction advisory services to private equity and credit funds, local and multinational firms and lenders.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of working experience in financial institutions, Big 4 accounting firms or financial advisory firms, with focus in financial analysis and financial forecast/modeling
  • Financial skills: 13-week cashflow forecast, bottom-up 3-statement financial modeling, credit analysis, and other analyses related to assessing debt servicing capacity and estimated outcome under liquidation and/or restructuring scenario (prefer strong candidates with some or all of these specific financial skills)
  • Other skills: strong in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Languages: Fluent in English
