**Team/Function Overview**


Global Public Affairs (GPA) is responsible for enhancing and protecting Citis reputation around the world. In EMEA, GPA includes four key disciplines: media relations, employee engagement, institutional branding and community development. The regional head of each of these disciplines sits in London and is responsible for oversight of that discipline both within the London hub, and for the region as a whole.


Citi has an on-the-ground presence in 55 countries throughout EMEA, and GPA has individuals or teams based in 27 of those countries. GPAs EMEA hub is located in London, Citis regional headquarters.


**Role / Position Overview**


The Content Manager role sits within the Employee Engagement & Communication team within Global Public Affairs.


The Content Manager will work with the regional Head of Planning, Campaigns & Insight to create, plan and deliver communications across all our channels as well as measuring their impact. The role requires the ability to work across a broad range of communications campaigns and events helping to deliver them in creative and impactful ways.


The successful candidate must be a strong communicator and comfortable working with digital platforms as well as video and the written word.


**Key Responsibilities:**


**Content Planning & Creation**


+ Working in collaboration with the wider GPA comms team, the successful candidate will ensure we focus our efforts where it matters, aligning our work to Citis key business objectives and helping to create impactful communications and campaigns for our employees

+ Measuring the impact of our comms and feeding back insights to keep improving what we do

+ Drafting and delivering key business communications using our EDT system to ensure the right audiences get the right communications at the right time and maintaining a robust set of processes around risk and control as we do so

+ Guiding and advising our network of communicators across the EMEA region on key projects as required

+ Packaging content for use by our people managers around the region

+ Assisting with executive script writing & event management logistics

+ Helping to develop content for digital channels & Tools such as Yammer, Teams & Slido


**Content Delivery**


+ Actively manage and maintain employee communication channels and help create and refine new channels as required

+ Collaborate with Global teams in the company-wide drive to upgrade our digital platforms & screens

+ Assist with audience mapping and message segmentation

+ Assist with delivering and asserting channel and content governance and controls across the region

+ Supporting business partners with strategic communications as required

The successful candidate will join a team focussed on a comprehensive communications and employee engagement strategy for a global organisation in one of its key regions, encompassing on-the-ground operations in 55 countries and with more than 23,000 employees. The Content Manager role will position the successful candidate to learn about all aspects of Citis institutional business around the region. Employee engagement is a key strategic focus of senior management at Citi, and high-quality, meaningful content is critical to influencing employee behaviour. The role will involve active engagement with a wide range of senior leaders from around the EMEA region.


**Criteria/Qualifications**


+ Professional writing/editing experience

+ Fundamental understanding of the communications industry & familiarity with the banking sector

+ Creatively deliver content & campaigns that engage audiences and have a positive impact

**Qualifications:**


Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations required or equivalent Communications educational experience preferred
