Alvarez & Marsal established its SEAA presence in 2021. A strong brand globally and in Asian markets, the company has leveraged its expertise and the current SEAA market potential with 7 offices across Singapore, KL, Jakarta, HCMC, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth .

Since A&M's arrival to SEAA, there has been growing demand from both local and multinational entities for turnaround management, performance improvement and business advisory services.

From its SEAA offices, A&M offers turnaround and restructuring advisory, interim and crisis management, performance improvement and transaction advisory services to private equity and credit funds, local and multinational firms and lenders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage relationships to source, buy and sell side restructuring/ insolvency opportunities
• Deepen advisory / legal relationships across sectors in the mid to large corporate space
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of global / domestic macro and sector trends, proactively advising clients on business strategy and opportunities in an ever evolving and dynamic environment that we inhabit today
• Gather all relevant information on trends, transactions, deal flow / business opportunities in various segments for all customers in the target market
• Maintain fluid communication with decision-making levels (Board, CEO, CFO and lenders as relevant) and be a person of consultation for strategic issues
• Manage execution, financial modeling and pitchbook preparations, also leading the firm's resources, maintaining a motivated and results oriented team
• Collaborate across teams to provide critical customer analysis and solutioning

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

20+ Years of experience in Restructuring and Insolvency

A minimum of twenty years' experience in the Restructuring and insolvency ideally in Singapore) industry with a proven track record

Local market network and understanding

Strong Singapore experience, understanding of Singaporean businesses, restructuring, capital raising, tax and regulations with an excellent personal and professional network with midsized & large corporates /lawyers

Leadership Experience

S/he must be a part be of the top management team, in an organization of repute
